Helicopters can't fly to the South Rim. It's 277 miles to the east and it's too far. Which is why I recommend the direct plane flight. It's a quick 60-minute ride to Grand Canyon National Park Airport. And once you land, you can do a helicopter tour or head straight to the bus and

Bus tours form Vegas take the blacktop to the West Rim and the South Rim. The former lets you load up on incredible side trips like the Skywalk while the later can be jacked up to include a rim-to-rim heli ride. Regardless which rim you visit, these tours
