West Rim buses from Las Vegas leave once a day. You're either on it or you got to wait for the next day. It's why I always recommend travelers book tours as far in advance as they reasonably can. Especially when it comes to the
bus trip that includes the Skywalk, which is an all-glass bridge that lets you walk some 70 feet over the edge. Get details here...

Helicopter Champagne Picnic (Vegas) |
You can only fly to the bottom and land and get out and explore from Las Vegas. Making it really interesting is the Champagne picnic that comes with this trip. Now that's unique. Personally, there's nothing more awesome sipping
bubbles as the mighty Colorado River flows 100 yards away. That's amazing. So's the descent. This is the one helicopter tour you don't want to miss. Learn more...

South Rim 50-Minute Helicopter |
There are no landing tours at South Rim. Options range from 30-minutes to 50-minutes. For the money, go with the 50-minute. It does a circle around the canyon that encompases the South Rim, East Rim and the North Rim before flying
through the incredible Dragoon Corridor for a spectacular finish. Here's how to book it...

Las Vegas Plane - Flyover

On a tight budget or have limited time? Take this Vegas airplane tour to the West Rim. It doesn't land. It's air-only, and it covers a lot of ground. It goes over Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon
before making a u-turn and heading back to Vegas. Total tour time is about 3.5 hours from hotel to hotel. I told you it was fast. Book it here...

This tour starts at the South Rim and takes you by bus to Page, AZ, where you drive to the base of Glen Canyon Dam and board a 19-person motorized pontoon raft. Then it's a delightful cruise down the Colorado River via
Horseshoe Bend and Marble Canyon before ending at Lee's Ferry (an old Mormon fort that's no longer inhabitable). Great for couples, groups and families. Learn more here...

There are two awesome times to fly the Canyon and one of them is at sunset. This tour utilizes one of the most luxurious helicopters flying the National Park and goes from Vegas over the Colorado River, Lake Mead and Hoover Dam before
alighting on the bottom for a Champagne picnic. Simply put, it's awesome. Learn how to book it here...

Always take weather into consideration when planning a Canyon tour. Especially the temperature. You don't want to be doing a bottom-landing heli tour during summer in a Parka. If winter, skip the shorts (you'll thank me later). Here's an article that gives you a quick dose of seasonal temps. Read more...
