If you've got a free day to spare in Vegas, don't waste it walking up and down the Strip in 100-degree weather. Hop an air-conditioned luxury bus and visit the South Rim,
which is much cooler because it sits at an elevation of 7,000 feet. There's no-frills bus rides and there's one that comes with a helicopter ride form South Rim to North Rim. If you're looking for a road trip, we've got you coverd. Click here for bus tour options...

The secret to keeping everyone happy at the South Rim? Float tours. It's all about taking a water raft 15.3 miles down the Colorado River, stopping for a dip, lunch and more and then rounding it all off with a stroll to a secret waterfall and ancient Indian rock art. There are two
options. The bus and float (cheapest) and the plane/Jeep/raft/bus option. Try one and you'll enjoy one of the canyon's greatest adventures.

The helicopter tour that does it all? Try the 4-in-1. This package includes going to the top and the bottom. At the base, you walk to the banks of the Colorado River
and do a boat ride. Then, back on the heli, you ascend and land on top and to the Skywalk VIP-style. By the time you're done, you'll have left NO rock unturned. It's a great trip and one of the most comprehensive tour we offer. Interested? Click here for 4-in-1 prices and availability...

Vegas: South Rim by Plane
|
Drive to the South Rim from Vegas and it takes 5.5 hours. Fly and it takes 60 minutes. Go ahead and weigh the options, but for me, it's crystal clear that if I'm pressed for time I'm going to take the direct
flight to the National Park. The flight over from Las Vegas goes just South of the Canyon. Once landed, you do a heli ride from South Rim to North Rim and back. Then it's 2+ hours on the ground. Click here for the
best plane tour ever...
