Labor Day is coming up. Great time to do a helicopter tour from Las Vegas. Trips include flying over the Canyon, landing in the bottom, landing on the top or all the above! But act now. Labor Day attracts half the planet to the Canyon so seating is tight. If you see a
helicopter tour that’s for you (and I know you will), snag it before you neighbor does. Details here…

There technically aren't any weight limits when it comes to helicopter tours. But there are surcharges. Argh!!! I cant stand them either (regardless if they call it a "comfort seat") and I've never been able to beat this rap except at one location. Don't like being surprised at
the ticket counter when they ask you to fork over an extra hundred bucks or more? Read this...

Labor Day is the last official summer holiday and everybody's got "float" on the brain. I know because bookings for these tours are off the charts. Frankly, I'm not surprised. 1-day floats are a great value. There great for active seniors, family re-unions and large groups.
Even kids if they are over the age of 4. It’s all because this is a smooth-water float tour and there are no white water rapids. Check it out here...

First: South Rim helicopters do not fly below the rim and land. That's only available from Vegas. They do fly over the Canyon in all its glory and there's one I recommend that lets you see up to 75% of the National Park. Just make sure you fly the deluxe helicopter as it’s got
the good seats and the 180-degree wrap windshield. Oh, and don't forget about the heli-Jeep combos! Read more...

Traveling to Las Vegas and looking for a great helicopter tour ride? Try the Champagne picnic tour. This one goes over Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Colorado River before landing on the bottom for a Champagne picnic. Includes up to 30 minutes of "bottom time.": Then it's the
ascent to the top and a pass by the Skywalk before heading back to Vegas. More information here...

Vegas helicopters can't fly to the South Rim. It's too far. What to do? Take the plane. It's a direct flight and you get there in less than 1 hour. Now that's fast! This trip can be combined with a South Rim heli ride or a 4x4 Jeep tour for maximum pleasure. You can even
squeeze some sightseeing on the plane ride to and from the Canyon. Booking details here...

Budget travelers rejoice! The Vegas bus is back. Go to West Rim or South Rim on a shoestring. Personally, I'm prone to use the savings to add side-trips into the package, like helicopter rides to the bottom or VIP Skywalk tickets. The world's your oyster, bus traveler! Time to
book it. Details here...

Las Vegas is a major hub for flights to the Canyon's West and South Rims. It takes a measly 25 minutes to get to the West Rim and a paltry 60 minutes to get to the South. Plus, like bus tours, you can add a ton of stuff to these packages. Pick from all-air flyover tours to
landing trips. Truly, this is a case where "the sky is the limit." Check out these flights...
