About the Colorado river
The most famous river in the West, the Colorado is the force that created the Grand Canyon (and upon whose back we do 1-day rafting tours!). The waterway is chock full of sights and sounds and a fair bit of fascinating history. Buff up on your river lore. Read this article...
Canyon Airplane Tours
We’ve sold more airplane
tours this year than ever before. I can't explain it, but I suspect it's because of the great value they deliver. And the fact that they are the fastest way to get from Las Vegas to the South Rim makes them even more
attractive to travelers who have just a day to do the Canyon.
National Park Primer
Need a quick primer on what to do and see at
the National Park? This article is perfect for you. In it, I briefly touch on the history of the place and identify the hottest landmarks and lookouts that if you don't see them you'll be kicking yourself when you’re back at home on the couch watching Netflix. Read

Champagne Helicopter Picnic
The Champagne helicopter
picnic is by far the most popular heli ride out of Vegas. It takes you over Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and the Colorado River before making a 3,500-foot descent to the bottom for a Champagne picnic. If you're looking for a trip to remember, this is the one to take. Click here for more info...
It's hot at the Canyon and one of the best ways to cool off is to take a 1-day float tour. These trips start at incredible Marble Canyon and end at historic Lee's Ferry. In between, you get to float through Horseshoe Bend and pull out for lunch and a side trip into a mystic canyon that's home to ancient Native American rock art and a waterfall. Here's more information...
Skywalk Helicopter Rides
Heart set on doing the Skywalk? Awesome. Especially if you go by helicopter. Trip sets out over Lake Mead, Hoover Dam and the Colorado River before heading over the Canyon and landing at the Grand Canyon West Airport. Then you deplane with your VIP Skywalk ticket in hand and do the Glass Bridge like it's nobody's business. More on this tour here...
South Rim, Tusayan, AZ, Helicopters
These helicopter give you either 30-minutes in the air or 50-minutes. The shorter tour goes from South Rim to North Rim and back. The longer one goes from South to East to North and back to South...essentially a circle that let's you see up to
75 percent of the National Park.
Vegas Bus Tours
Bus tours
are in full swing! Daily departures from Las Vegas to the West Rim and the South Rim. You can also literally make your own trip by adding such activities like helicopter rides and Skywalk tickets. Learn
